Selection of textile mountmaking work (2019-Present)
Photography (first 10 images): John Chase.
Selected examples of textile mounts. These cover everything from standard padded forms with and without arms to a custom-made buckram mannequin for a late 18th-early 19th century riding habit, and fosshape bustle support for a delicate lace overlay 1880s bodice.
Riding habit and yeomanry jacket were conserved and mounted through the generous support of the Costume Society Elizabeth Hammond Grant
